Carbon Poker Leakfinder Video

Tagpoker Member FinishEmOff has sent us a video of him playing two tables of no limit texas holdem on Carbon Poker.

In the video we will be concentrating on all of the hands that we think there are valuable lessons to be learnt and as such have edited the video to quickly show all of the hands worth talking about and skipped the parts where nothing of interesting happens.

Part One

Points to work on - Part One

Spotting co-ordinated flops and flops that hit your opponents calling range hard. With position and a lot of equity in the hand, you can use pot control to see the turn and then decide how to proceed from there

Not calling an all in even with a lot of outs, realise that even with 40% equity in a hand that you are still an under dog if you call a shove. The hand can play well if you are the one shoving hands with lots of outs over a bet but know that your profit comes from your opponents folding a percentage of the time (fold equity). Without fold equity, you are losing money.

Raising premuim hands pre flop and don't let others just limp in and see cheap flops.

Part Two

Points to work on - Part Two

Avoid playing dominated hands outof position (reverse implied odds)

Concentrate on developing a win rate (even a small one) and avoid marginal situations until you are a consistant winner

Ask the question, why am I betting, what do I hope to happen?

Think about how much value your hand has and shoot for that amount. Top pair ok kicker rarley has three streets of value so think about how and where you will get said value and start reading the board texture and thinking about what hands your opponent may call with.
