Weeeeeeeeeeeee apparently it's fun to swing?
Wow what a week!
After running like god, one can only expect the opposite to happen sooner or later, I just hoped it would be later!
I've been up and down like a yo yo and it's not been much fun at all. At it's worst point I was down eight buyins and just couldn't seem to win a game.
Funny thing is, no matter how many times you experience a downswing, it always seems to leave you questioning your ability and that's probably the worst part of it, self doubt. You see, when you start to doubt yourself you often try playing in a different way. Some players get really passive, some turn into non believing call stations and others get very aggro/ spewy.
I think if I'm honest, downsings still effect my game and I probably get a little more passive than usual. The main thing is to have a plan when you run bad. My plan is to take regular breaks, review every game to make sure I'm playing well and excersise some table selection to lower the variance as much as possible.
Well my current roll is $1513, I've played 695 HUSNG's for an average ROI of 21% so I shouldn't grumble too much.
